Video taken just inside the Lake Julian Trails community this morning. Residents told me that the dump trucks aren’t supposed to be on that road anymore, and that they often drive too fast and weave over the lines.
Anyone else out there having this same experience? Got any information on where the coal ash from the nearby Progress Energy plant is being hauled to, and why?
I noted the trucks coming by about every five minutes, and — after the first couple — they seemed to slow down as they stared out of their cab window at me while I videoed.
